Through the Lens...

The name for this blog was taken from a concept presented by John Piper in His book, Don't Waste Your Life where he presents scripture to support the fact that, "everything - everything good, and everything bad that God turns for the good of His redeemed children - was purchased by the death of Christ for us."  Therefore, everything in my life was purchased by the cross.  The air I breathe, the life I have, the ability to have friends, a job, a car, intelligence, even weakness and the ability to do anything in spite of those weaknesses was bought for me on the cross of Christ. I aim to see everything through the cross of Christ and share through this blog the things the Lord is teaching me and the things His blood bought for me.  I aim to give God glory for what He has done despite my wretchedness.  Soli Deo Gloria!
