These are my peeps. This was a surprise party which Kari tried to craftily plan. Of course I am not an easy person to surprise and so long story short I messed up things but despite all that these women showed up and waited for me to get home from church!
Here is my first reaction. What is this face? I have never made that face before???
By the way, they threw a Princess birthday party for me. Their thinking was that I had most likely never had a princess birthday party....for those of you who know me you know this was a pretty safe guess.
Here we are trying to use our party favors....no comments on this one please.
Here is the cake. They tell me they lost the 7 to go with the 2....I just believe they were trying to tell me something. Also, my mom laughed when she saw the sunflowers because she thought, "Oh these are NOT Lynsey"....hahaha. Oh, notice the name on the cake.....I will explain the story if you would like but long story short, I outsmarted a GPS one night whose name was "Sasha" and so claimed her name on the next Starbucks run as I heard "Hot Chocolate for Sasha" come from the kind but deceived barista.
Here I am acting like I am blowing out my "2" candle since we missed it the first time around....quick as a cat I say.
It was a good birthday. Thanks for all the people who chose to put up with me this year!
